MANCHESTER – With spring sports kicking into gear, the Manchester School District Athletics Department held its annual Athletics Night. The event, which was held in the gym at Memorial High School has two purposes: to celebrate graduating seniors who have signed on to play sports in college and to help students find a sport they love.

The event is set up as community fair, with district and community sports teams manning tables. The idea is to introduce students to athletics opportunities to help build a feeder system for district sports teams. Another key part of the event is the celebration of top student athletes. More than a dozen students, representing Central, Memorial and West were recognized at the event for signing on to play sports in college.

The full list of athletes is below. We wish them luck as they finish out their high school careers and as they move on to college.
